Meet The Team: The Best Youth Art Teachers in Reno
At Drawn2Imagine, we are extremely happy with our wonderful staff. We are fortunate to have some of the most amazing and dedicated teachers leading our diverse Reno youth art classes. Their commitment to providing exceptional experiences in every class is the reason why Drawn2Imagine has found such a strong foothold in the community. Each teacher brings their own unique personality and experience to their work, but there is no doubt that what they all have in common is a love for art and a love for children. So, without further ado … let the introductions begins.
Michelle Laxalt
An undergraduate at the University of Nevada, Reno, Michelle is working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She believes that childhood learning should be fun and we tend to agree with her. She understands that children learn best through interactive engagement and loves to find the artist in everyone.
Alisha Funkhouser
A patron of every art form she can find, Alisha is a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and truly understands how important art has been in her life. This has called her to teaching so that she can share the joy art has brought her with other people.
Amy Aramanda
Would you believe that Amy also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nevada, Reno? She is also a working artist and will dive into any medium she comes across: her favorite being paper mache. With art having been such an important and shaping experience for her as a child, she knows its value and loves to share.
Our well-educated and highly passionate staff is very compatible with the ideology of Drawn2Imagine. They have made art their way of life. They understand the benefits it offers and have completely fallen in love with it. We cannot imagine any better team to share the joy of art with children. They truly are the best youth art teachers in Reno, and we are glad to have them on board.
